Which BIM platforms does SYMATEQ use?

We work in Revit, Navisworks and BIM 360 (Autodesk Construction Cloud), producing data-rich, coordinated electrical models and running full clash detection of the electrical systems against structure, architecture and other trades' models for US and Canadian projects.

What is BIM clash detection and why does it matter?

Clash detection identifies spatial conflicts between building systems in the digital model before construction begins. Resolving conduit, cable-tray and equipment conflicts in Navisworks eliminates costly field errors and change orders — every $1 spent resolving a clash in BIM saves an average of $5–$10 on site.

What is ISO 19650 and how does SYMATEQ align with it?

ISO 19650 is the international standard for managing information over the whole life cycle of a built asset using BIM — defining how teams organize, name, share and validate model data within a Common Data Environment (CDE). We structure all deliverables to ISO 19650 naming conventions, LOD definitions (100–500) and information delivery milestones, making our models immediately compatible with clients who require ISO 19650 compliance on government-procured or international projects.

Can you produce fabrication-ready electrical shop drawings?

Yes. We advance electrical Revit models to LOD 350/400, producing construction-level conduit rack, cable tray and equipment room content accurate enough for off-site prefabrication. Fabrication-ready models reduce on-site assembly time and waste, which is why general contractors increasingly request LOD 400 from their electrical trade partners.

What is 4D and 5D BIM, and do you offer it?

4D BIM links the 3D model to the construction schedule, simulating build sequencing to surface logistics conflicts before work begins on site. 5D BIM adds cost data for live quantity take-offs and budget tracking. Yes — we offer both services for US and Canadian clients who need full construction-phase intelligence.

Do you provide electrical BIM modeling for US and Canadian projects?
