MEP engineering for data centers & critical facilities.
Critical facilities are modeled in detail. We support the power chain, the cooling and the coordination so that nothing clashes on site.

In shortData center work is modeled in detail: the power chain from utility to rack, cooling equipment and containment, grounding and cable tray, with clash detection so nothing conflicts on site.

Scope, by discipline.
Typical items on data centers & critical facilities projects. Exact scope is agreed before we start.

In the USA and Canada, mechanical and plumbing include the calculations. In the other regions they come as design assist, drafting and modeling. Electrical calculations are included everywhere.
Questions about data centers.
What do you model for a data center?
The power chain from utility to rack: medium-voltage and low-voltage switchgear, UPS, generators and distribution, plus cooling equipment, containment, grounding, cable tray and the services around them, at the level of detail the project's BEP requires.
Why is clash detection so important in data centers?
The power and cooling equipment is large, dense and unforgiving of change. Finding conflicts in the model rather than on site avoids delays on a schedule that is usually tight and a commissioning sequence that cannot slip.
Can you support emergency power and generator coordination?
Yes. We model the generators, transfer switches and fuel connections and coordinate them with the rest of the plant, with the sizing and code basis (NFPA 110 and NEC Articles 700 to 702) set by your engineer.
Which MEP services do you offer for data centers?
For data centers we provide electrical, mechanical and plumbing design assist, plus MEP drafting and Revit modeling. Typical scope includes power chain modeling: utility, UPS, generator, distribution, cooling equipment and containment modeling and chilled-water and drainage modeling. The exact scope is agreed before we start.
Where do you provide MEP drafting and modeling for data centers?
In every region we serve: the US and Canada, Australia and New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, Finland and the Middle East. In the US and Canada we also prepare the mechanical and plumbing calculations; elsewhere mechanical and plumbing come as design assist, drafting and modeling. See regions.
