Plumbing design assist and sizing.
Fixture counts, water, drainage, vent and gas sizing, risers and Revit plumbing models.

In shortSYMATEQ provides plumbing design assist: fixture counts, water supply, drainage, vent and gas sizing, riser diagrams, drawings and Revit models, prepared for your licensed engineer to review and issue. In the US and Canada the sizing calculations are included; elsewhere we draw and model to your engineer's design.

What is plumbing design assist?
Plumbing design assist covers fixture counts, water supply, drainage, vent and gas pipe sizing, riser diagrams and schedules, prepared for your licensed engineer to review and issue. We work in your template and show the design in Revit or CAD.
Which plumbing codes do you use?
The one you give us: the IPC or UPC in North America, AS/NZS 3500 in Australia and New Zealand, or the UK, Irish, Dutch, Finnish and Gulf requirements for your project. Your engineer reviews and seals.
Do you size water, drainage, vent and gas piping?
Yes, in the US and Canada: fixture counts, water supply, DWV and gas pipe sizing, with the calculations written out. In other regions the sizing stays with your engineer and we draw and model it.
Do you draw hydraulic services and public health drawings?
Yes. We follow your terminology and drawing conventions, including hydraulic services for plumbing in Australia and public health in the UK and Ireland.
Can you do dental medical gas and vacuum layouts?
For dental and similar clinics we prepare the medical gas and vacuum layouts to NFPA 99 as design assist for your engineer. See dental clinic and medical office MEP.
Do you produce riser diagrams?
Yes. Riser diagrams are part of the plumbing service, and we model the risers in Revit so they coordinate with everything else in the building.
